Live to Tell by Eric Coble
Touring September 9 – October 11, 2024
The One Humanity Tour is a free, professional touring program for middle school students created exclusively for the School District of Palm Beach County. This program was designed to use storytelling to develop informed, thoughtful, and compassionate citizens, and includes an engaging discussion following the performance.

7th Grade Tradewinds Middle School StudentThree vulnerable teens, Alison, Makayla, and Isabella, share their firsthand stories of being trafficked over three years. The play is told in direct address style, and the girls’ stories are revealed reflectively and not through explicit action.
Booking Details:
- This school-day tour comes to you, and serves your entire 7th grade.
- There is no cost to the school or students.
- The performance and post-show discussion are 55 minutes in total.
- Morning or afternoon performance times are available.
- We use your space, and bring the play to you.
- Booking dates and times are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Technical requirements are simple: a clear playing space and two electrical outlets. We bring all of our own equipment. More details are provided after booking.
- We include a Teacher Resource Guide in the Marzano framework with extension activities.
- A moment-to-moment, detailed synopsis is available with the Teacher Research Guide. Both can be found below. The script is available to read by request.

About the Tour:
The One Humanity Tour is an important multi-faceted program supporting Florida State Standards (see Teacher Research Guide above.) Watching Live to Tell, and participating in the post-performance discussion and classroom conversation deliver the following topics directly to your students:
- Responsible decision-making
- Relationship skills
- Social awareness
- Self-management
- Self-awareness
- Considering multiple perspectives
- Demonstrating effective coping skills when confronting a problem
- Creating relationships with adults/authority figures that are respectful
- Showing cause and effect
