Palm Beach Dramaworks is committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. To aid with our safety and security efforts, please arrive early and leave backpacks, large bags and packages in your car. Outside food and drink are not permitted inside the facility. All persons and bags are subject to search before entering the building and weapons of any kind are prohibited. If you see something that looks suspicious, we ask that you please report it to house management immediately by calling 561.514.4042 x107.

PBD Health & Safety Policy Updates

Palm Beach Dramaworks is committed to the health and safety of all our patrons, artists, and staff. We have installed an HVAC system throughout the building that complies with all the latest safety standards, including UV light, bi-polar ionization, and specialized high quality air filters.

For the upcoming season, patrons will be encouraged, but no longer required to wear masks while in the theatre. Actors will continue to be tested a few times a week, as Actors’ Equity Association has rigorous protocols in place for its members.

Health documentation is not required, but we ask you to make responsible decisions. If you feel unwell, please stay home. Contact the box office for ticket exchange options. Again, we will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate if necessary.

Etiquette

All patrons must be courteous and not behave in a manner that distracts the performers or detracts from the comfort of other patrons. Patrons must observe the rules of the theatre while on the premises and follow any instructions given to them by ushers or theatre staff. All patrons must remain in the designated audience seating/waiting areas at all times. Patrons are not allowed in the cast dressing rooms, private hallways or private offices, and should not obstruct cast members during the performance. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any person whose conduct it deems to be disorderly or whose actions infringe upon the rights of other patrons or staff.

Electronic Devices

Photos and recordings are strictly prohibited. All mobile phones and electronic devices that could cause a disruption must be turned off before entering the theatre. Some devices can interfere with our sound system and electronic alerts of all kinds can be disrupting to other patrons as well as the performers. Please refrain from texting during performances, as the glow from electronic devices distracts performers and other patrons.

Smoke-free Environment

In compliance with the Florida Clean Indoor Air Act, Section 386.201 of Florida Statutes, smoking inside the theatre is prohibited. Smoking is permitted outside of the building in various public areas.

Lost and Found

Items found during performances will be turned into the box office. Please call 561.514.4042 x2 if you have lost or misplaced an item while visiting us.
