Renee Elizabeth Turner
Renee is thrilled to be back at PBD in this timeless classic. She was previously seen here in a concert version of Camelot. Renee has worked for many of the finest theatre companies in Florida and across the country. She has performed with Broadway composer/lyricist Marc Shaiman, is a three-time Young Talent Big Dreams guest judge, and is a Broadway World Orlando Award nominee for Lead Actress in a Musical as The Actress in the Florida premiere of Hello Again. Her likeness can be seen in the UK and South America thanks to a TV/film career that includes commercials, infomercials, and reenactment videos. Renee just made her radio play debut in New York City as Cecily in Distilled Theatre Company’s DTC Radio production of Hell and High Water (available on ITunes). Other credits include Sarah (Ragtime), Gwen (A Song for Coretta), The Witch (Into The Woods), Aouda (Around The World In 80 Days), Con (Oedipus at Palm Springs), Elizabeth Hartley-Trumpington (Murdered to Death), Kate (The Pirates of Penzance), Sister Margaretta (The Sound of Music), Lady Sybil (Camelot), and Minnie/Angela (Parade). She thanks God, her amazing husband Andrew “Muffin,” parents Clarence and Elizabeth, friends, and family for their love and support, and everyone at PBD for this incredible opportunity.
