Pamela McIver had a career in public relations and advertising, having spent many years at Young & Rubicam and its public relations affiliate, Burson-Marsteller in New York. Since her move to Palm Beach in 2001, she has been very active in her two philanthropic passions, supporting non-profit theatre and fighting homelessness. Before joining the Palm Beach Dramaworks Board, she was on the Board of Florida Stage for a number of years. She is Chairman of the Board of The Lord's Place, an agency dedicated to ending homelessness in Palm Beach County. She is a member of the Board of Directors and an Allocations Panel Chairman for the Town of Palm Beach United Way. She serves as Chairman of the Town of Palm Beach's Recreation Advisory Commission, and sits on the board of the Crisis & Information Hotline, 2-1-1. In 2005, Pam was named "Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser" by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She and her husband, Brian, live in Palm Beach and Sag Harbor, New York.
