A 30-year veteran in the entertainment industry, Leo is a Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning actor, and regards theatre as his deepest passion. He has originated and played roles in dozens of plays in the most prestigious theatres across the country, including the Mark Taper Forum in LA, the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Yale Repertory Theatre, Second Stage Theater and Circle Repertory Company in New York, and the National Theatre in London. Leo’s most notable stage roles include Pops in Between Riverside and Crazy last season at GableStage, Philmore in August Wilson’s Jitney, Sergeant Waters in A Soldier’s Play, John Prentice, Sr. in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, and Teach in American Buffalo. He has also appeared in featured roles on such TV shows as The Cosby Show, All My Children, One Life to Live, and multiple episodes of Law & Order.
