Gordon McConnell
Gordon McConnell arrived in South Florida 20 years ago after spending two seasons with New York's acclaimed Mirror Repertory Theatre with such distinguished giants of the American theatre as Ann Jackson, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Moriarty, John Strassburg, and the immortal Geraldine Page among others. Florida audiences first saw Gordon in Beirut, an early exploration of the AIDS crisis, at Actor's Rep in West Palm Beach. He went on to act at Florida Rep., Theatre Club of the Palm Beaches (now Florida Stage), Caldwell Theatre, American Stage (St. Petersburg, FL), Actors' Playhouse, GableStage, Flat Rock (North Carolina), and various roles in Miami Vice. He was the Artistic Director of TheatreWest and lives in Lake Worth with his wife Nancy Barnett and their son Hunter, and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
