Elena Garcia

Elena Garcia was last seen at Miami’s Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in her one-person show, Fuacata! or A Latina’s Guide to Surviving the Universe. Elena has presented her self-written and directed one-person show, Do You Speak Mexican?, throughout South Florida. She is a three-time recipient of the prestigious Carbonell award for best supporting actor for Zoetic Stage’s Moscow and City Theatre’s Summer Shorts for best supporting actor and ensemble. She is the founding member of Separate Checks Improv Troupe, Quien Sigue A Quien, and Big Purse and Matching Shoes. Elena has appeared in numerous national commercials, feature films and television. She currently teaches at Universal Acting, New World School of the Arts, Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of Screen Actor’s Guild and Actors’ Equity Association. Elena dedicates her performance to her father Dr. Francisco N. Garcia and Tori Velle Fortney. Love to Jerry, Ana, Emma, Ida.
