Originally from Philadelphia, Debi spent the last 24 years at the city’s Walnut Street Theatre (WST), where she was resident stage manager of over 120 plays and musicals. Also a director, Debi’s work includes WST productions of Always, Patsy Cline, Souvenir: A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s Tell Me on a Sunday, and the American premieres of Mr. Bailey’s Minder and The Ugly One. Here in South Florida, she most recently directed Flashdance the Musical and Lobby Hero at the Lake Worth Playhouse, and was the assistant director and stage manager of the world premiere production of Billy and Me at PBD. Up next: directing David Mamet’s Oleanna at WST and Sweet Charity at the Playhouse. Enormous thanks and gratitude to Bill Hayes for his love, trust, and constant inspiration.
