Chris Oden has played twice at West Palm Beach's Kravis Center in The Acting Company's productions of Jane Eyre (Rochester) and The Tempest (Prospero). He also appeared a bit further south at the Performing Arts Center of Hollywood in Isadora, No Apologies. Chris hails from New York, where credits include: Red Bull Theater: The Revenger's Tragedy (Duke); LaMaMa: Three Sisters (Vershinin); Lightbox: Ajax: 100% Fun, Ripe Time: Innocents, etc. Regionally, he has appeared at The Repertory Theater of St. Louis: Blackbird (Ray); The Connecticut Repertory Theater: The Skin of Our Teeth (Antrobus); The Illinois Shakespeare Festival: Much Ado About Nothing (Benedick), Henry V (Pistol), Love's Labors Lost (Don Armado); Shakespeare Santa Cruz: King Lear (Edgar), As You Like It (Touchstone) among others. He was a resident company member for seven years at the Commonweal Theater Company in Minnesota, where favorite roles included: A Moon for the Misbegotten (Tyrone), Twelfth Night (Malvolio), and An Enemy of the People (Stockmann). Chris is currently a core company member of the Hamptons Shakespeare Festival in New York. He received his MFA from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, and has trained extensively in Suzuki and Viewpoints with the SITI Company in New York.
