Brian was born in Jacksonville, FL and lives in NYC. He has performed on stages across the East Coast. New York credits include the Lortel-nominated premiere of The Good Negro (Public Theater & Dallas Theater Center), Lifeline (Abingdon Theatre Company), The Caterers (NY Innovative Theatre nomination for Outstanding Actor), as well as The Germans in Paris and An Error of the Moon Off-Broadway. Regional credits include major roles at Capital Repertory Theatre (Moonlight & Magnolias and The Taming of the Shrew, alongside previous Dramaworks artists Eric Martin Brown and Wynn Harmon), Arkansas Rep (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Alabama Shakespeare Festival (world premieres of Blood Divided and The Flag Maker of Market Street), and the Berkshire Theatre Festival (Peter Pan and William Gibson's American Primitive). Brian has originated roles for playwrights Tracey Scott Wilson, Jonathan Leaf, Elyzabeth Gregory Wilder, Luigi Creatore and Quiara Alegria Hudes. When not on stage he sumo wrestles with karma by serving as a theatre critic for Edge Publications in New York.
