Chanteuse is tone-deaf, but the comedy is spot-onby Hap Erstein  -  July 9, 2008
Palm Beach PostThe following is an excerpt from the original review
There is the undeniable sound of pained - and painful - screeching coming from that tiny playhouse, though no feline has been sighted. Instead, it is the caterwauling of real-life Jazz Era society matron Florence Foster Jenkins, as re-created by a daffy, deliriously deluded Beth Dimon in the affectionate memory play, Souvenir.

There is every reason...to see the Palm Beach Dramaworks production, directed by J. Barry Lewis to earn broad laughs as well as moments of heartbreak.

...That Kenaston is a highly accomplished musician as well as a fine actor is what really makes the evening work.

...You need not hide your enjoyment at Souvenir, though you may need to wipe away the tears of laughter.
