Palm Beach Dramaworks
Palm Beach Dramaworks to perform scenes from Kim Edward's book The Memory Keeper's Daughter as part of county-wide “Read Together Palm Beach County: One Book One Community”, May 15th at Harriet Himmel Theater at City Place

Some of South Florida's finest actors including Loureleen Snedecker, Patti Gardner, John Van Dalen and Justin Sims will bring the written word to life, when West Palm Beach's only resident professional theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks, presents scenes from Kim Edward's book The Memory Keeper's Daughter, as part of the county-wide “Read Together Palm Beach County: One Book One Community” program on May 15th (5:30PM) at the Harriet Himmel Theater at City Place. This one-time-only performance will feature scenes adapted and staged for the program by Mark Lynch with J. Barry Lewis as dramaturge. Admission is FREE but reservations are necessary. This very special event concludes the six–month program from Palm Beach County's largest reading group and will also feature the acclaimed author Kim Edwards.

"We became involved with this program as a part of our committment to begin extending our organization's reach into communities often under-resourced or underserved in the arts and arts education, and support the coalition's stated goal of universal literacy in Palm Beach County" said Mr. Lynch.

Palm Beach Dramaworks is a non-profit, professional theatre and is a member of the Theatre Communications Group, the South Florida Theatre League, Southeastern Theatre Conference, Florida Professional Theatres Association, Florida Theatre Conference, and the Palm Beach County Cultural Council .
