The Technical Apprenticeship Program places great emphasis in offering individualized instruction and hands-on experience in a professional theatre setting during all of the mainstage productions. Students from area Universities, Colleges and High Schools assist in productions in various capacities from Assistant Stage Managing to Lighting Design to Set Construction. Dramaworks' professional staff work closely with apprentices to give them an invaluable production experience.

Upon completion of this program students will:
· Have a greater understanding and appreciation of all elements in producing professional theatre.
· Enhance their theatre studies.
· Have professional experience they can apply at other theatres.
· Know if they might want to pursue a career in theatre.

The Technical Apprenticeship Program is about providing professional learning opportunities for young people and building partnerships with students, teachers and artists to enrich the cultural fabric of our community.
