James Danford returns to 201 Clematis Street for the fourth time in thirty years, having just finished Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. James worked in this building in the early 80's when it was The Stage Company of the Palm Beaches, the late 80's and early 90's when it was Florida Repertory Theatre, and then at Burt Reynolds Institute when the building became the Cuillo Center. He likes this ‘go-around' the best – finally a beautiful, comfortable, audience-friendly theatre right here in the heart of Downtown West Palm Beach! James worked at Florida Stage for 18 years, and has spent many summers at Caldwell Theatre Company, Kenley Players (where he got his Equity card), Kansas City's Starlight Theatre, The MUNY in St. Louis, and The Fox in Atlanta. He loves dogs, having done over 20 years of Doberman Rescue and is currently a puppy raiser for New Horizons Service Dogs. |
