April 2008 · Irene is a long-time member of the South Florida regional theatre community. She was most recently seen as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl for the New Vista Theatre Company. Other recent and notable regional appearances include Talk Radio (Mosaic Theatre), Summer Shorts 2002 & 2007 (City Theatre), Joseph, The Full Monty, and I Love You Because (Actors' Playhouse), Mack and Mabel, and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (Royal Palm), Where's Charley? (Caldwell), The Dead (GableStage), The Rocky Horror Show, and Blood Brothers (Shores Performing Arts), Sisters of Swing and At Wits End (Florida Stage), and The Disputation (Coconut Grove Playhouse) with Theodore Bikel.
A proud member of Actors' Equity Association, she is the Chair of the South Florida Equity Liaison Committee. A nine-time Carbonell nominee, she has won the award three times.
Irene Adjan has been involved in two productions at Palm Beach Dramaworks since 2006.
